Thuraya

  • General
    • The SIM can be used in all the Thuraya Coverage area.
    • SIM includes 10 units of airtime
    • Account is valid for 1 year from €˜first call
    • €˜First call must be made within 6 months of Activation
    • Prolongation after 12 months for another 12 months is possible
    • All existing  E-vouchers may be used
    • After expiry subscriber has a 90 day grace period to renew during which incoming calls are still possible
    • Billing increment is 60 seconds
    Prepaid Calling Rates
    • Fixed price per minute: 1.49 units per minute.
    • Call from Thuraya to Thuraya at 0.99 units per minute.
    • Thuraya to other Satellite Networks: $6.00 per minute.
    • Minute rate on-net (Thuraya toThuraya) $ 0.99
    • Minute rate off-net (Thuraya to other networks) $1.49
    • Dial-up Internet Service $0.99
    • Per SMS – 0.50 minute
    • Data/Fax - Same as fixed price perminute
    • Validity: 1 Year
    • Preloaded with 10 Units credit.
    • First call must be within 6 months from activation.
    • The account is automatically renewed on the expiry date if there is sufficient balance on the account.
    E-Voucher Credit Validity
    In order to extend this validity period credit can be purchased to top-up the minutes and the validity period of the SIM. How much the validity period is extended depends on how many units you purchase.
    • 20 Units
    • 50 Units
    • 160 units
    • Credit validity is cumulative. Maximum credit validity is 18 months
    • Upon credit expiry, balance in account will be reset to zero

  • The NOVA PREpay SIM Card is limited to certain countries*** The Thuraya NOVA SIM is a pay as you go SIM card from Thuraya. It has been designed to provide cheapers cakks rates. The NOVA SIM is valid for 24 months and comes loaded with 20 units of airtime. Upon expiry the renewal fee for the NOVA SIM is only 10 units, which will automatically be deducted from your pay as you go balance.
  • The PIN-code of the E-voucher will be sent to you by Email 
    Refilling by calling 150
    • Call 150
    • Choose 1 (to refill)
    • Key in the 14 digits E-voucher PINcode followed by # (example 12345678901234#)
    • You will hear an announcement that your account has been credited by the amount of the E-voucher
    You can call 150 six times (6) and each time you are allowed to enter the scratch card number three times (3).  If all attempts fail, then the accounts will be blocked and you will be asked to call Customer Service.

    • Go to “Menu”
    • Select “Message”
    • Select “Write message”
    • Key in the 14 digits E-voucher PINcode starting and finishing with # (example #12345678901234#)
    • Send SMS to 150
    •  You will get a message confirming the updating of your account
    Refilling through SMS is free of charge.
